MailShare is a temporary email sharing service that allows you to forward emails and view them in a chat-style interface. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our service.

When you use MailShare, we temporarily store the following data from forwarded emails:

- Sender and recipient email addresses
- Email subject lines

We use the collected data solely to display your forwarded emails in a chat-style interface. We do not analyze, sell, or share your email content with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
All data is automatically and permanently deleted within 1 to 24 hours, depending on the expiration time you select when creating a conversation. We do not maintain any permanent storage of your emails or attachments. Once a conversation expires, all associated data is irrecoverably deleted.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Lettermint as our email receiving service. When you forward an email to a MailShare address, it is processed through Lettermint's infrastructure before being displayed on our service. Please refer to Lettermint's privacy policy for information on how they handle data.
6. Data Access
Anyone with the unique conversation link can view the emails in that conversation. You are responsible for sharing links only with intended recipients. We recommend not forwarding sensitive or confidential information through this service.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right to access: You can view your data via the conversation link
- Right to erasure: Data is automatically deleted within the selected timeframe (1-24 hours)
- Right to data portability: You can copy or download content from the conversation page
Due to the temporary and anonymous nature of our service, manual deletion requests are not available. All data is automatically purged according to the expiration time.
8. Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:
- All connections are encrypted using HTTPS
- No user accounts or passwords are required
- Conversation links use cryptographically secure random identifiers
- Data is stored temporarily and automatically deleted
9. Cookies and Tracking
MailShare does not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technologies. We do not collect any information about your browsing behavior or device.
10. Age Restriction
This service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. By using MailShare, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.
